Simulator

Based on its vast experience as a leading manufacturer of thermal power plants, MHPS developed training simulators for conventional plants, Gas Turbine Combined Cycle (GTCC) plants, and Integrated coal Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) plants. These training simulators are one part of the product lineup of the integrated control system "DIASYS" created by combining the latest information/communication technology and control technology. MHPS delivers those training simulators to all over the world.

High-precision plant models created by a plant manufacturer with knowledge of the equipment down to the last detail

Precise mathematical models based on physics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electrodynamics, and other areas are used to offer high-precision simulation comparable to actual plants.

The same Netmation software and database as an actual plant

To facilitate effective operation training, the same Netmation software (operator station (OPS), engineering & maintenance station (EMS), and accessory station (ACS)) are used in the simulation as in an actual plant.
The simulator can also use the same logic and graphic database as an actual plant to allow prior verification of updated control logic and training for maintenance parameter tuning.

Full replica type simulator
  • Full replica type simulator
    A simulator with exactly the same devices and layout as an actual central unit.
Panorama simulator
  • Panorama simulator
    This simulator is equipped with a large wide screen to display the status of the whole plant.
    You can confirm how the system reacts to your operation and changing logic at a glance on a large wide screen as if the system were real.
Compact type simulator
  • Compact type simulator
    The layout of this simulator is smaller than a full replica type but it keeps the operability of the full replica type.
Desk side type simulator
  • Desk side type simulator
    This is a compact simulator that lets you perform all kinds of monitoring and operations on a CRT.
    The same control logic and plant models are used as for the other types of simulators to facilitate full-scale training.
    This simulator is easy to introduce because the installation location is flexible and the initial cost is low.

  • Instructor Console function
Instructor Console function
    • Reset
      An initial state of a plant can be created and registered beforehand to be set up in a simulator.
    • Run/Freeze
      You can switch the status of simulation between Run (running) and Freeze (pausing).
    • Snapshot
      You can temporarily save the current state of a plant.
    • Backtrack
      The state of a plant can be automatically saved every two minutes and you can switch back to a previous state.
    • Changing the simulation speed
      You can speed up or slow down the simulation speed during simulation.
    • Malfunction
      You can simulate an abnormal plant state to practice troubleshooting.
